Last month, Our-Hometown teamed up with the Virginia Press Association to host a Virtual Conference highlighting the Digital Initiative program that launched in Virginia earlier this year.
Our-Hometown President & CEO Matthew Larson joined Steve Weddle of the Virginia Press Association, along with Billy Coleburn of the Courier-Record and Lisa Watson McCarty of the Scott County Virginia Star — two of the first publishers to take full advantage of the program and launch new websites for their publications — to discuss the benefits of the program and how it has impacted their newspapers so far.
