Each Promotion includes a specific Coupon Code that is displayed at the top or bottom of the e-mail alongside a customized promotional message, and is only visible to the audience selected during setup. This allows you to easily target these qualified leads with marketing material that includes a special discount in order to entice them to re-subscribe, or subscribe for the first time.

Feature Request: Automated Newsletter Coupons

  • Configure Your Coupon

  • Your coupon code should be something easy to remember. For example, a campaign aimed at former subscribers might use "COMEBACK10" as a coupon code for 10% off their order if they re-subscribe.
  • Please enter a number from 0 to 100.
    Select whether this offer should apply to your standard Annual/"1 Year" Subscription, or whether it should apply to all memberships on your site. (Note: If the coupon will apply to "All Memberships" then the discount type has to be a percentage!)
  • Date Format: MM slash DD slash YYYY
    Enter the date that the coupon code will expire, after which it can no longer be redeemed. Leave blank to never expire this coupon.

  • Configure Your Campaign

  • Enter the message for your targeted audience that will display across the top of the e-mail with the special offer. Example: "SPECIAL OFFER: Use code '{promo_coupon}' for 10% OFF!"
    Select how often targeted users will receive this special offer.
  • Date Format: MM slash DD slash YYYY
    Your promotion will be included in newsletters beginning on this date.
  • Date Format: MM slash DD slash YYYY
    Your promotion will stop being included in newsletters after this date. Leave blank for a never-ending campaign.
